Dallas - Broken Bow is 197 miles from the center of Dallas. It is a 3 to 31/2 hour drive, depending upon your starting point.
Oklahoma City - Broken Bow is 255 miles from the center of Oklahoma City – usually a 4-hour drive.
Shreveport - Broken Bow is 155 miles from Shreveport – usually a 3-hour drive.
Tulsa - Broken Bow is 218 miles from Tulsa – usually a 3 1/2 hour drive.
What time is check-in / check-out?
Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. These times are firm in order to allow adequate time for cleaning between guests.
What are the cabin amenities?
All cabins are fully equipped for all your needs. They each have outdoor grills, cooking utensils and linens for the number of people the cabin sleeps.
What does the cabin not have?
Condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, etc) are not supplied. Charcoal and lighter fluid for cabins with a gas grill is also not supplied.
What about coffee?
All the cabins have a coffee maker but coffee is not supplied.
Is firewood provided with my cabin?
No, firewood is not provided with any cabin. We can arrange for it to be delivered by a 3rd party. They charge $50 for 30 sticks. Or firewood can purchased by the stick at Adam & Eve Coffee Shop at the park entrance on HWY 259.
How will I find my cabin?
You will receive directions from Broken Bow to your cabin, as well as your cabin's key code, by e-mail approximately 7 days prior to your arrival.
Are pets allowed?
Each cabin is different. Look in the cabin detail page for verification. It is strongly suggested you crate your pet while you are away from the cabin.
Are any of the cabins located on the lake?
Broken Bow Lake is managed by the Corps of Engineers. Therefore, no cabins or homes are allowed to be built near the water. The cabins are nestled in the Ouachita National Forest. Beavers Bend is 3 - 5 miles. Broken Bow Lake is 4 - 6 miles.
Where can we find supplies and groceries in the area?
Pruett's Grocery in Broken Bow, Super Wal-Mart in Idabel or Wal-Mart in Broken Bow.
If I book today, what charges apply to my credit card?
There is a $50 non-refundable booking fee per cabin which is charged to your card right away. The $50 is applied toward your balance, which is charged to your credit card 14 days prior to your arrival with no refunds. At that time, you will receive a confirmation e-mail which includes directions to your cabin and the key code.
Do you accept cash payments?
No, a credit card is required in order to make a reservation.
